iPhone Impressions

Ok.. so I stood in line a few days after the iPhone’s initial release on June 29th. I honestly was going to wait quite a bit before purchasing one, but the CEO of Ciralight (in Park City) talked me into picking one for him so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get one for myself.

Even almost a week after the release, the folks standing at the Apple Store in the Gateway was still surprising. I got there early enough to get two vouchers which guaranteed that I would get two that day. There was about 50 of us with vouchers and another 50 or so waiting to pick up the leftovers. It was a party-like atmosphere at the Apple Store even then… folks talking enthusiastically with each other. One person even shut down his local business to wait in line that particular day.
