I have a love hate relationship with Market Circles Daylite. One, I love the way it helps me automate my workflow with the activity sets, and assign tasks to other users but in order for that to work you have to have a system in place to allow users to work remotely with a live database that doesn't freeze or create problems when syncing, Daylite does not. If you're planning on using daylite with a personal database the product is fantastic, if you're working with a team and using the Daylite Server I'd wait until Daylite fixes the bugs and the problem it has syncing data.

One more point. Daylite mentions that it will take a few days to respond to support questions because they just released a new product Daylite Touch. So, in other words in my opinion they're telling everyone who's purchased a license or multiple licenses and other products like I have to screw themselves until the can afford to hire more staff to handle people that have paid them.

If you a referring to the Tasks that are created in the Activity Sets and you are viewing them from the Calendar then you remove any tasks from your view that are completed.

At the bottom of the Task List in the Calendar, click on the gear icon and click Show Completed Tasks to remove the check mark.

Hope that helps.

I found your page because I was searching for how to complete an activity or task in the calendar (remove it from the calendar) without losing it in the Contact's history.

I like the activity sets, but it makes the completion of the items even bigger. If you can't get the items off the calendar when Status is marked Complete, that makes for a mighty full Calendar. Any solutions?

Although it was not made clear in the Macworld keynote, MathType works in all three iWork apps, not just MathType.

I've read that some users go into a startup loop that won't let go. If you experience this bug:

1. Boot into safe mode (hold down the shift key immediately after the startup chime)

2. Hit Restart instead of logging in.

According to Apple and my experience, this procedure fixes the bug.

You say have keyword that is "send no email". And you're looking to EXCLUDE those contacts with that keyword. Create a Smart List with the criteria keyword... IS NOT - Send No Email.

This will find only the contacts WITHOUT that keyword attached.

Hope that helps

I try to exclude records from a list (key word = send no email). Excluding records from a contacts smart list does not word with me.
I would like to search for my contacts who opt-in for a e-mail newsletter but also want to exclude all contacts who doesn't want to receive any information.

Any tips?

Thanx
